€100,000+ Raised with Mayo Roscommon Hospice Car Raffle

The Jel Marketing team managed a successful fundraising campaign in partnership with Mayo Roscommon Hospice. Through a dynamic digital-first strategy and strong community engagement, the hospice raised a remarkable sum with their car raffle. In fact, they exceeded their goal of €100,000 and significantly surpassed the car’s initial value.

JEL Marketing partnered with the Hospice to create a comprehensive, community-focused campaign. Strategic timing around seasonal peaks and events maximized raffle participation and excitement. This collaboration resulted in a successful and engaging campaign.

To further incentivise support, we introduced bonus draws featuring attractive prizes such as garden furniture, a family trip to Center Parcs, and high-quality vouchers sourced from local businesses. This approach not only boosted ticket sales but also fostered a sense of community involvement and support for local enterprises.

Harnessing the power of video, we collected heartfelt messages from supporters, including the hospice’s CEO, and transformed them into compelling social media content. Our team used a strong digital marketing strategy to promote these videos. This strategy included Meta and Google Ads and resulted in excellent engagement and visibility for the campaign.

To further boost the campaign and complement our online activity, we created special point-of-sale materials for the hospice’s shops to sell tickets. This linked the online and offline efforts, ensuring a consistent approach and reaching as many people as possible.

To wrap things up, we live-streamed the draw on Facebook, adding to the excitement and ensuring complete transparency. The campaign’s success shows just how powerful it can be to blend digital marketing with a strong sense of community.
