The team at Jel Marketing were delighted to have been able to work with Limerick GAA on their “Win a Home in Adare” fundraising campaign. Through a combination of strategic digital marketing and engaging the GAA and broader community’s support, the campaign successfully raised over €1.16 million. This funded the development of a cutting-edge centre of excellence for GAA in County Limerick.

One of the key factors in the campaign’s success was its ability to tap into the local passion for GAA and the strong sense of community within Limerick. This was achieved by getting well-known county sports stars – heroes to many – and associated with the success of limerick teams. In addition to popular sporting starts, we also engaged influencers from comedy and fashion. We generated significant interest and support nationwide by highlighting the campaign’s potential to benefit Limerick GAA and the great prize on offer.
People in every corner of Ireland, and even across the globe, bought tickets, showing the huge appeal and reach of the campaign, coupled with the fantastic support for Limerick GAA.
The culmination of this incredible effort was the exciting final draw, held at the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel & Spa. Matea Marzic, a Croatian native who has called Limerick home for the past eight years, was announced as the lucky winner of the stunning Adare property. “I still can’t believe it,” she exclaimed. “It’s such a beautiful apartment in such a stunning location. We have been driving past it every day for the past 8 years!”
Sean Scanlan, Chairperson of the “Win a Home in Adare” committee, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support the campaign received. “The reaction in Limerick and all over the country, as well as across the world, has been fantastic,” he shared.
The funds raised will develop a state-of-the-art centre of excellence in Crecora, featuring 10 full-size pitches, dressing rooms, a gymnasium, medical rooms, video analysis facilities, a dining area, and offices and meeting rooms.
