Collaboration with GRCC’s Win100Grand Fundraiser

100 Grand Winner

We are incredibly proud to announce our collaboration with Galway Rape Crisis Centre. We worked alongside them, managing online sales and marketing for their Win100grand.ie fundraiser competition. The campaign closed on December 28th with significant funds raised for the development of their new centre. Furthermore, an incredible prize of €100,000 was awarded to the lucky winner!

Over the past year, our team at Jel Marketing has had the privilege of working closely with the Galway Rape Crisis Centre on this ambitious fundraising campaign. We poured our hearts and minds into developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy. A strategy which was designed to maximise reach, engagement, and ultimately, ticket sales. From crafting compelling social media campaigns to developing targeted online advertising, we employed a multifaceted approach to ensure the Win100grand.ie competition resonated with various audiences. The results speak for themselves: tickets were sold in every corner of Ireland. Even countries spanning Europe, Asia, Australia, and America purchased tickets, demonstrating the incredible power of community and the unwavering support for the Galway Rape Crisis Centre.

The culmination of this year-long effort was the thrilling draw held on December 28th. Deirdre Butler, a teacher from Rahoon, Galway, was overjoyed to be announced as the €100,000 winner. This incredible prize will play a vital role in funding the construction of GRCC’s new home in the Claddagh. The new centre is scheduled to open in May 2025.

“We are hugely excited about the new build and moving to one of the most picturesque places in Galway. We plan to expand our reach, enhance our services, and continue our vital work in raising awareness through education,” shared Cathy Connolly, Executive Director of the GRCC.

This fundraiser project has been a thoroughly rewarding experience for our team. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to such a meaningful cause and to have witnessed the incredible generosity of the public. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Deirdre, the Galway Rape Crisis Centre, and the entire city of Galway on this momentous occasion.
