Limerick GAA, driven by the need to establish a state-of-the-art facility for the development of Gaelic Games in the county, embarked on an ambitious fundraising endeavour. They decided upon a raffle offering a highly desirable, fully furnished apartment in the picturesque village of Adare as the grand prize.
Adare is recognised as one of the prettiest villages in Ireland, and the location of Adare Manor which will be home to the 2027 Ryder Cup Golf Tournament.
